OneUSG Connect Go-Live

As part of the University System of Georgia's OneUSG initiative, Georgia Tech will adopt leading business practices and streamline existing business processes by introducing OneUSG Connect. While it will be necessary to learn new terminology and navigation, we will also gain new features and functionality in moving to this platform. For example, OneUSG Connect:

Single Sign-On Login Service Testing Thursday 8 to 11 p.m.

The Office of Information Technology is planning to upgrade the existing single sign-on login service on Tuesday, June 9. In preparation for this upgrade, application owners will test the login service from 8 to 11 p.m. Thursday, May 28. Users may experience issues logging into Georgia Tech services at this time. Microsoft Stream and Whiteboard

We will review Stream video features for internal usage and cover Microsoft Whiteboard for demonstration and collaboration.

Stream features to be covered include: sharing, interactivity, and organization of videos. Whiteboard features to be covered include: inking/annotating for instruction, adding documents and images, and inviting students as collaborators.

Salesforce Advisor Link Training

Georgia Tech is preparing to embark on a  New Era in Advising with the anticipated release of the Advisor Link platform, powered by Salesforce. The new solution will transform the user experience for both advisors and students through an interactive user interface, improved visibility into a student’s journey, and seamless integration with Banner and other systems and services.Salesforce Advisor Link training begins Monday, Aug. 24, and continues until Thursday, Sept. 10.
